The Fight Begins!
Hi! This is my new blog! And I’m very new at blogging!! But I wanted to share with my family and my friends my journey with breast cancer, Round Two! Four and and half years ago I was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma, estrogen and progestin positive, grade 1 breast cancer. My loving husband and I both decided to have a bi-lateral mastectomy. Because my tumor was so small I didn’t need chemo or radiation. I did have reconstructive surgery and I’m very happy with my new “boobs”! I also felt very certain that this was going to be a “One and Done” thing and I never thought I would have a recurrence. Surprise #1 - I found a lump under my right arm while shaving one morning 😕I immediately made a Dr appointment! (Never Wait Ladies!)
